[Firewall/Antivirus] What are you guys using?

I've tried ZoneAlarm, Norton (god what a nightmare), and Panda in the past. Been using PC-cillin IS for ~four years now. 2006 is the best of the series by far.

No complaints really, but I'm thinking about switching over to Kaspersky IS 6. Supposedly it's even better at realtime protection. My only hope is the firewall will give me absolute control as easily as PC-cillin did.


Seems like ZoneAlarm 6.5 + Kaspersky AV is a very popular combo atm.

What do you guys use? Anybody running 2007 suites yet?

I use avast! anti-virus, free, and updates all the time. All you have to do is register once a year for free.

you guys should try out NOD32

NOD32 is my favorite. If you need something free, AOL's activeshield runs on the exact same engine as Kaspersky. It's actually wonderful, despite the AOL label. Something to look into.

AVG free for AV, windows firewall, but it sits behind a linux router with iptables blocking most stuff out.
