been charged with bringing the ham, taters, deviled eggs, and a desert
starting with the ham, its one of those smithfield hams endorsed by Paula Deen
the glaze this thing comes with is stupid tasty, really only need to add a few cloves, but holy hell does this thing taste good... its kinda like declaring open war on your arteries
desert is chocolate chip cookies per a recipe from cooks illustrated magazine, and btw cooks illustrated if fucking amazing... never had a bad recipe, and it goes through and talks about the science of how things work together when being cook/fried/baked/whatever, as they make they same thing over and over making small adjustments till it comes out perfect (and these particular cookies always get devoured quickly, they're so good)
have not yet started the deviled eggs :[
and still have to get the mashed potatoes started :[
but will totally be making some amazing mashed potatoes with a brand new potato ricer (seriously, best possible way to make mashed potatoes)
anyone else cooking for tmmw?
