DVD on PC?

I have a DVD that will play on a normal DVD player, but will not play on the PC. It is not the fact that it will not play, but the PC will not even read that there is a DVD in the drive. The PC DVD works fine with any other DVD. Is this some new copy protection? Ideas?

make sure the region on the DVD player is correct.

24 didn't play on my computer untill I changed the region on the DVD drive.

i had that problem with Bareback Working Boys, too.

Bingo, I should have done this to start. I just did not think about it because the other DVDs were fine.

That said now I have a new problem.......the dvd I was having trouble with now plays great. As do audio CDs. The problem now is the sound on one of my DVDs will not work. The video is fine. updated audio drivers.... checked the disc setting to make sure they were on....... I hate to update drivers it always seems like I get this type of situation.

Try using Media Player Classic.
