[dual boot] Cross OS infection?

I'm running xp and vista on 2 seperate drives.

My XP is hacked up pretty good due to not having updates etc (dont judge me!)
My vista isntall should be good, no?

xp and vista operate mostly on seperate system files, you should be fine

If telling the story makes you like me again i guess...

I was a newby HOF for SDB.
Spam was all the rave.
It was a play on words, i was cool and 16

edit: and its DISC within tribes, making my play on words not cool or funny.
but I stuck it out dammit!
 
If you reformat your XP drive/partition you will probably lose access to your Vista boot because of the way Vista's boot manager has been changed.

Using a boot manager program is the best way to go because you can do these repairs without affecting the other, also it allows you to hide one OS install from the other completely.

Free and it works very well with XP/Vista etc.
