[Dota 2] Prizepool for this year's International tournament has exceeded $10,000,000

It's a sport guys. An E-Sport. Can't you see? Just look, when you incentivize people with Cool Hats and Trinkets, they'll buy your useless money scam better. Never underestimate the purchasing power of socially awkward shut ins and/or their parents' credit cards.

Moba games are boring as fuck to watch. Don't understand why it is so popular as a spectator sport. Unfortunately, SC2 will probably be dead in a few years.

If you play them you understand the level of teamwork and coordination required to pull it off and appreciate it.

Because as inflated as they may be by the presence of trademarked designs, those items still physically exist and have an inherent value. Granted there are parallels there, but there is still a significant difference.

sc1 good game
sc2 not so much

both rely too much on apm to identify "skill"

also impossible to compare moba to rts... mainly cuz moba is teamskill/coordination. its like comparing soccer to tennis
