[DJ Mix] Rave/Happy Hardcore/Something

lumoon

Veteran XX
For the longest time I wanted to record a dj mix from my old rave recordings. I finally got around to do it. These are all from the golden rave era of 94-96 so it's oldskool babe ;) I hope you technoheads will like my early x-mas present to you.

Looks like a Plethora of oldschool rave :D
I will dig this when i get home! I have been hitting up my early 90's electronic as of late as well :)
I think i might hit up my KLF albums when i go home :D
Thanks man!

You want me to cut the mix to individual tracks? Why would you want to do that if I may ask? =)

Or do you mean to record the vinyls individually all over again?

The second. It's nice to have the individual tracks so that we can play too.

It's nice to have the full mp3 because that's the insight into your artistry and tastes. Especially if you're a turntablist and not just a DJ.

But it's also nice to have the individual tracks so that I can add them into the playlists I have of similar music, so they appear randomly in the total mix.

Oh I see. I don't see me recording the tracks all over again sorry :( It's a time sink to be honest.

Maybe some day when I want to backup all my vinyls.

That's cool. Give me a shout if you do. :bigthumb:

And thanks for the mp3. Putting on my iPod now. Will listen on drive to work. :)

I always preferred epic trance to happy hardcore, but it feels nice to hear some of that old sound of the glory years...

I remember all of those raves and pills trashing nights of dancing until I died :)

I might hit the tables soon to record an oldskool trance set :D

/me nostalgic

p.s.: 303 is where it's at... new tracks lack the power of true 303 :)

Finished it on the way home. Good stuff.

Fucked up drive, too. 50 minutes to go 11 miles on the freeway. 60+ on the side streets.

Was nice to have something bouncy to listen to. :bigthumb:
