I've read everything on this.
Solution? There is none. Google all you want. You will get tons of "fixes" on tech forums that seem to work for 2-3 people and fail for everyone else.
This has plagued Nvidia for a very long time and any number of things may cause it, so its not something they can simply make go away with a new driver. Nvidia had a lot of input into the Vista SP1 just because of this issue and it still didn't help people who had this issue. People will tinker around with the different fixes and cause more problems, or just not have results, and spend money buying different RAM, you name it.
For me, I had Alienware. I just sent it back and they sent me an even more powerful ATI card with no extra charge. That's the worth of buying Alienware. The support is fantastic. Just get a new card, one from ATI. If you pursue fixing this you will very likely find yourself pulling your hair out trying complicated fixes with 15-20+ steps that yield no results.
