Dead Space HDCP, WTF

Ok so I have a nice new 1080p TV. I am hooked up through my PS3 with HDMI and Samsung says my TV is HDCP compliant. So why the fuck does it blink with 1920x1080 and then switch to 720?

Probably because the game is in 720p and I don't think PS3 upconverts games. I'm not 100% sure though.

It sort of up converts and the game is 1080p says it on the case just need an HDCP compliant HDTV, which I have.

make sure you have the latest PS3 update (duh), and the resolution is set (duh).

I have a simliar set up to yours with no issues.
