cs:s playdemo help

so i go into the console and enter the playdemo demoname

i then get this


and thats it. if i hit resume game i just get a blank black screen. Anyone else have this problem?

Steam is retarded. You can't watch old demos. You can only watch demos that have been made after the last HDR update. Which was about a 3-4 weeks ago. They should fix this in upcoming patches.

demoui is the best way to watch demos in source, try not to record demos longer than about 15mins cause it cuts off after a while.
