Chromebooks for the masses?

Looks like you can preorder the Chromebook from Amazon and Bestbuy.

Cheapest I can find is at Amazon for $350 with free shipping

Just a wifi version though. The 3g versions all cost at least $430.

It just costs to much when you can get an android gtab (wifi) on woot for sub $300. At least its cheaper then an iPad.
