I dont know if you remember but a few months ago there was a program called CherryOS that was claimed to emulate a Apple G4 at 80% your current processor speed. Well I finally got my hands on this software and I can report that this program is about as quick as any other mac emulation software on the market.

CherryOS is a completely illegal ripoff of PearPC, which is a free open source program.

The only difference is that CherryOS has a higher screen refresh rate by default, so it does emulating slower (more time spent refreshing), but makes some animations look more smooth. That smoothness is to trick users into thinking that it's faster.
