According to the IOC the most Golds wins the Olympics!

Its a great day to be Canadian!!!

Vancouver has hosted a great Olympics. The media reports have been good, besides London and Russia. Wonder why..
 
Easy to assign a point system and see.

1= bronze
2 = silver
3 = gold

It isn't all or nothing after all, or there'd only be gold.
 
i still love the fact that we've drank more beer than the past 3 olympics in half the time. My god are we ever a drunken country.
 
Because having someone die because of a badly designed track, having numerous 'ticket' issues, having a lack of snow, then having horrible conditions at the Alpine and skiing events including pea soup fog, having to postpone several events because it was too warm, then too snowy. Let's not forget the horrible conditions at the speedskating track and the fact they had to bring in an additional Zamboni to 'fix' it.....

13 is a tie for the all time most gold medals in the history of the Winter games.

If we win in hockey tomorrow we will have 14 and the most in history!!!

We already broke the record for golds by a host nation ;)
