I'm intrigued by the terminology: "Did you buy that offline?" No, I bought it online, because I was on the internet. This is what I always thought at least. If I buy something offline, it would imply that I'm not on the internet, therefore I bought it in a store or something. Maybe it's some grammar rule I've never seen or maybe everyone just is retarded and doesn't think about what they say. What do you think?

They download to your computer and then your computer renders it (or in newer browsers it renders it as it downloads).
