[BUG] cdkey in use when its not ??

This has been happening to me whenever a server changes maps... when it does, first I get disconnected, or i press cancel and then I try to rejoin and it says "... CD KEY IN USE..."

So then i wait... and wait... and wait... =X and yes, stat checking is off

Perhaps the server is caching the key for TOOOO LONG???
 
I got this too...

I dropped from a server to fix my name. Tried reconnecting to the same server and got the cd key in use error. I just re-connected right away again and it worked. [Minor Bug] in my case.
 
Welcome to the UT2K4 engine! This happens a lot with me and my buddies in UT2K4 when it first starts up. All I do is close the warning box and connect to a server.
 
if you're lagging out of the server it could be taking longer to realize you're not connected to it.

Same could happen if you're cutting your connection while the server is busy loading the map and sending everyone connected to it their spawn info and such. It just doesn't catch the flag saying your CD-key has logged off, and so it keeps it on for longer than normal.
