I'm guessing it ties into the candidates because she was a big supporter of McCain and she tried to make this look like a rabid Obama supporter was out assaulting people and carving a B (for barack) because they support McCain.

She was trying to draw support away from Obama

That would make Michael Savage silly for attributing a nefarious communist foreigner take over the US plot in part to the Zorro event not being plastered all over the pravda liberal media.
