Soooooo. I had a pretty terrible Uber experience tonight. It was pretty much 17 minutes of non-stop sexual harassment. First, the driver tells me he thought I was a "sexy 19 year old girl." I brought up that I had a boyfriend pretty quickly. Then he told me multiple times that he thought my body was nice. He also told me he wanted to take me to a restaurant. When I said my boyfriend wouldn't like that, he said, "Your boyfriend doesn't have to know." Then he told me if he were my boyfriend, he'd cook food for me, brush my hair, etc. He asked me for my number and I said no. He tried to convince me that he had a bunch of young female friends that he met from Uber that he'd take out all the time but then he kept saying, "If your boyfriend knew I was talking to you like this, he'd really beat my ass, huh?" Then he "joked" that he was going to park his car at my destination and come to the party with me, which really scared me. The whole time I didn't tell him outright that he was making me uncomfortable because frankly, I was terrified. I'm 4'9", weigh less than 90 pounds, and was in the back seat of a vehicle of a stranger who was literally more than twice the size of me who could really take me anywhere. I just wanted the ride to be over with the entire time.
Did you get the number of the cab he was operating? You could call the place he works at and report him.

I find it funny that she doesn't seem to have a problem with all the advertisements she walks by. If all of these men are exhausting to her - what about the flood of advertising we get nailed with each day? Ads are everywhere calling our names.
