I wasn't just pulling the eviction thing out of my ass. If they choose to fuck you after you gave them shelter for x days they can. I don't remember what x is off hand but i would guess around 30 days.

In our area as long as they arent on the lease they have no deciding factor with what happens to them, as long as it isnt instantaneous and they are given time to get their shit. They call it good faith here. Saves alot of people from getting sued by trying to help people.

PS, suing in canada is alot harder then in the states
