Any AO players out there?

All this talk of DAoC reminded me of Anarchy Online. I remember picking it up at launch and finding that it was so horrible broken, that I wanted to quit my free 30 day on day 2. I had to wait the entire 30 days (basically unplayable) because their system wasn't even set up to allow unsubscriptions. In the meantime I was wandering around with my level2 character in super-high zones and taking screencaps of me walking over the edge of the world, falling through the world, etc. Pretty sure their bug submission system was broken (or nonexistant) back then too.

But otherwise it was a pretty decent game and had good graphics.

Supposedly it's free now for the base game, and pretty cheap for the exp packs. Anybody played/play AO?

I've got serveral characters on RK1...162 doc, 119 advy, 24 trader twink...some other ones.

I also left the game after launch, but even then experienced players could tell that the game had potential, so I knew I would come back some day.

Yes, the game is all fixed up now and it's fucking great. Have fun playing. I have also heard that MA is the uber class for the basic game now.
