So,,, No one wants to discuss the fusion sun China launched into the atmosphere last week...The vids that Alex show look pretty impressive. What could go wrong? Of course Xi is trustworthy.

The claimed to have THE top tier next gen stealth fighter. Looked fantastic from a distance. Then once you looked closer at it, it was a Dessault fighter with russian avionics and a slick paint job

Next they were bringing out the biggest aircraft carrier this world has ever seen. but i dont think it ever made it to the water

Then they were talking about nukes they were testing underground...but they weren't testing nukes, they were detonating a huge amount of TNT underground and telling everyone it was nukes, but the seismic readings were nowhere near what a nuke would put out.

China is pretty much full of shit.
 
The Chengdu J-20 is most assuredly NOT a Dassault (note the spelling) Mirage.

Still, none of this is to say that the launch of the Fujian is not a significant moment.

Schuster was referring to the USS Gerald Ford, a supercarrier that has been plagued by problems since its commissioning in 2017 (by which time it was already three years late).

The supercarrier is yet to make its first operational deployment, though that is expected this fall.

Meanwhile, China forges ahead.

“They are building their navy at a faster rate than the US and all of its allies,” Schuster said.

“Imperfect, but a good foundation.”

J20 isn't based specifically on the typhoon, china actually stole the F22 design by hacking (us gov admitted this) and they tried to reverse engineer it but failed to get the radar cross section to the size of F22. It's loosely based on F22 stealth design except uses canards similar to the typhoon.

The visual physical configuration and stealth shaping have been claimed to be influenced by foreign aircraft, including the F-22, F-35, F-117, Mig 1.44, Mig-31, Rafale, and Eurofighter Typhoon, according to an opinion piece published in The Diplomat by Rick Joe. Joe adds that the J-20's external physical configuration is a logical development of Chengdu's previous canard-delta designs: the Chengdu J-9 - particularly the "twin tail, side intake, canard delta" J-9V-II - from the 1960s and 1970s, and the Chengdu J-10 Furthermore, Joe said that stealth shaping is a much more universal and consistent trait that leaves limited room for variety, and that future international designs will likely reflect this.[100]
