Sec+ is only worth it if you're too cheap to go get a CISSP or SSCP (depending on experience level) and instead of getting net+ just get a CCNA; at least you'll knock out 90% of most companies job requirements for doing anything networking. Network+ just screams ITT Tech graduate
 
my path is finish my a+, go get MCP and then i may do the 2008 server msts certs and then go back for network/sec/server+ certs
 
Just get CCNA and Redhat certified ftw. Cut the bullshit.

But congrats anyway. Getting your first cert/it degree is a good feeling :)
