I bought a sweet Buck knife for 3 dollars. It looks like this one but it says 704X U.S.A. on the blade. I tried to give the guy 5 bucks but he didn't have change for a $10.

nice knife - the X means it was made in 1990

Usually second hand knives have been butchered by people sharpening them badly. If not then it will be great for collecting trophies and keepsakes.

this one seems to be in good shape

I'll post a pic after work

I use a buck alpha hunter folding knife for an every day carry. Buck will repair or replace any knife if you mail it back to them FYI, so if your blade snaps or somethings failing just send it back to them for a new one.

Also got an alpha hunter dorado but the rosewood handle scratches easily so I don't carry that one around as often.
