The revolution that brought the communists into power was spurred into existence by the Czar who's tyrannical mistreatment and abuse of the populace was finally exploited by those early communists to incite a rebellion. All Lenin (and the other Marxists) had to really do was point at the upper class elites and go Look at how selfish and uncaring they are! It also didn't help that the Czar had embroiled them in a World War that they were losing because of his mismanagement and incompetence. Everyone is dying... everyone is starving who isn't currently dying and then some one comes along and says "That guy! It's his fault! Let's get him!"

And everyone "Got him".

And then everyone spent the next 80 years dealing with a new kind of tyranny.

In a way, that's the same pattern that is happening today with the rise of these socialist *ahem*communist voices in our society. There is this growing impression that the wealthy upper class are riding too high in their saddles at the expense of the rest of us and then someone like Bernie or Ocasio comes along and shouts "Get'em!" and suddenly people are prepared to tear everything down out of spite.

Oddly enough they did this same thing everywhere in the world at pretty much the exact same time (or within a few short years)

and we are weaker than we have been in ages (ever imo since last World Wars)

they did a great job getting rid of the bonds that bind us

we no longer care about god, country, or family

because most American's no longer have any of those things

we went from a high trust environment to a low trust multicultural society where people would rather spit on their neighbor than help them

so here they come out of the woodwork again

ready for another wave of WORKERS UTPOPIA led by neo-Bolsheviks who will call everyone not doing their bidding a NAZI

that if they win will end up like the next Holodomore and the great starvation
