I’m sort of interested more in how this new Game of Thrones show does because I dont know a single person who plans to watch this, myself included
 
I don't even care about the minutiae of the content of this show really, just the thought of LotR becoming a modern "media franchise" makes me physically tired. I'm just gonna read more books

I think they vastly underestimate how poorly Season 8 was received. Going right back to the Iron Throne sounds fucking stupid.
