Can you run a marathon

Had surgery on my knee some three weeks ago and honestly i'll be happy if in a month or so i'm able to run 4/5 km again.
 
Haven’t ran in 10 years and then it was only the Military run which isn’t a marathon.

Never had the desire to run long distances. I’m pretty fast sprinter though.

I would be in a fuck ton of pain if I tried that now but I could finish.

No and never would have been able to.

Even when I was playing high school football, basketball and running track I don't think I could have run a marathon.
 
Ran the Orange Bowl Marathon twice back in the day. Now my knees are shot. Not good to do long distance running. I didn't know the meniscus does not regenerate.

I used to run marathons but gave this up a while ago. I am shocked vanster is not in here to gay it up with self promotional condescending statements.
 
I'm going to change my vote (if I actually had voted) to yeah, I could. It might take me a week, I may saunter for 99% of it, but yeah, no problem. Would probably rack up a lot of bonus miles staying at hotels along the way too.
