I still have a nice Panasonic stereo vcr in the cupboard somewhere and it still has pretty decent picture quality.

That noise they made when the tape clunked into place and the whine of the rewind at the end - even better than the old dial up connection sound :sunny:

It would actually be good for watching Halloween movies I think.
