Godzilla! Huge Earthquake in Japan

Japan will fully recover in like 3 years. Meanwhile, there's still a huge blank spot at ground zero.

no shit

Japan will be back to working order within a week

tv tokyo is apparently showing the devastation near sendai. lots of farmland destroyed. that's going to have the biggest impact more than anything.

people in japan are going back to work and people in hawaii are FREAKINGGGG OUTTTT

Hawaii lies very close to the perpendicular axis to the fault line, which historically is the direction in which the tsunami is most powerful. Even if a wave half of what hit the Japanese coast reaches Hawaii, that would still be 6 1/2 feet of water moving at the speed of a commercial jet. If this thing stays concentrated Hawaii could take a lot of damage.

too bad america doesnt built shit correctly to withstand quakes and waves like the japs

america!

:flag:

fucking morons

GOD WHATEVER WILL THEY DO WITH THE NEXT FEW HOURS TO PREPARE FOR IT

Well, apparently after the tsunami warning was issued for the Chile quake, lots of people went down to the beaches to try to get a better view. Do they give out mass Darwin Awards?

cael, no

you safe though?

Haha. town is insane man.

Thank god for apple and face time. me and my gf talking.
