Climate change disproportionately affects certain communities. And that we cannot achieve climate change without addressing racial justice, social justice and inequity.
The climate policies that are being advocated for have an environmental justice and a climate justice intersection and that the communities that are the most inequitably burdened by pollution and climate change are the communities that should be prioritized for mitigation and investigation.
We need to be in line with the Paris climate accords and reducing greenhouse gasses by 50% by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
