I-85 bridge collapsed in Atlanta, i-85 closed indefinitely

The nicest area is to the north in Dunwoody. The south side is the shit hole similar to Chicago.

Concrete is porous. If you introduce enough heat (junk fire underneath the bridge) maybe it's possible to ignite all those years of oil it's slowly absorbed? :weird:

"indefinitely" doesn't seem like the correct word for this when all the news stories say, "a few weeks". The word is defined as unlimited time or unspecified time, which this is neither.

It is surprising how quickly they can repair a bridge with major damage if needed, sure it takes 3 years for a contractor to build a bridge, but it really can be done in weeks or months.

In China it was almost like you could go to work one morning and then be driven home that night over a new elevated freeway that you would swear wasn't there that morning.

Shit can get done fast if people are motivated.

(it would need to be rebuilt again by next year tho)
