Imo, the bail outs were nothing more than the elites using tax payer money to maintain their tenuous control.
Ask yourself this: if the system crashed, just WHO was going to carry out foreclosures on millions of homes? the banks that had no money? fed gvt going door to door? lol, o yeah that would be very interesting to watch.
Sure it would have been devastating to the overall economy, but to me, it's a much needed hard reset. A great opportunity to clean house. All of those fuckers involved needed to be put in jail and / or executed for their crimes.
