...and Zlex. I used to think that until I got one (because I couldn't get a dog)
Both cats and dogs rock in their own way.
 
my basic thought.

Your house is on fire

A) your dog will bark constantly and wake you up

B) your cat would PTFO without you knowing leaving you to burn in hell

They're sisters from the same litter, the big one was hurt getting spayed and has gained weight ever since :( They say she's fine but she came back with a concussion so I know they dropped her or hit her or something. She's the sweetest angel ever (the smaller one clearly gets parented by the larger)
 
ya 1 cat doesn't discount their natural instinct.

they are less loyal, fly instead of fight, etc.

you shouldn't let cats outside if you care to keep them

a cat in the wild takes on traits much different then common house cats
 
i dont enjoy kitty liter so.... outdoor cat or nothing for me. .... but we keep it inside at night. its jsut one day it was late and the cat had to piss or shit. i let it out and that was that.
