My NYC/Jersey pics

hey eggi you should come visit me in atlanta this summer. but i'm on a budget so if you could chip in for gas and help pay for my food that would be great. oh btw you're going to have to take a taxi to go everywhere because i invited some chicks out so there's no space in my car.

like i said i'm sure it had good intentions to start with, but i guess i just have a different version of hospitality. when my friends take the trouble to buy plane tickets and fly in to visit me, i go out of my way to make sure they are taken care of. nothing personal against mike, i guess we have different ways of doing things, but he is definitely not planning anything else that i would go to.

the dollar is too weak to even think about europe right now. i'm going to costa rica in october, the dollar still has some suction there.

nice, where are you going? i can recommend some nice surf beaches if you're into that. i've been on both coasts and done a bunch of stuff. probably won't be going back again soon, not because i didn't enjoy it, but because i should see different parts of the world.

mikes a great dude and fun to hang out with. in new jersey though there were two times where i was seriously considering changing my flight back home. i even texted my ride that i would probably be coming home early, but after sleeping on it i decided to wait it out with the other guys, take a more proactive role, ask hellraisr what we should do (he seemed a bit more in tune with the group mentality), and try to turn some negatives into a positive.

it was a great trip, i had a blast.

but the clusterfuck won't happen again, i can promnise you that. not with me at least. and i know everyone else feels the same way. except maybe slogg, he is mr easy to please. i don't think i heard a single negative comment or complaint from him the entire time. props to him for having such a good attitude the whole time, seriously.

if we had taken hellraisrs advice the first night i think things would have been completely different.

that 50 dudes party was messed up.

I agree with what Ayz said earlier, that it should not have been a trip about NOT getting laid. Seriously, you guys should just of hanged out together. Forget about the myspace whores.

Do you think if no myspace whores were involved, that the trip might of been better?

****edit

pretty sure the ratio was off.

i dont surf i'm going to san jose to fuck hookers gamble and see the rainforest

hmmm. hitting up any of the beaches at all? i can get you the name of one of my fav bars in san jose. its this sweet ass lounge that plays cafe del mar and buddha bar 24/7 and has huge couches and cool paintings. only problem is tequila shots are like 3000 colones, which is pricier for over there.

btw, have you been to that casino right next to the airport, or the one under the hotel?

prostitution is legal in panama and costa rica. its kind of legal in the dominican republic. its illegal in cuba but the enforcement is lax and every cop can be bought for like 5 bucks. in mexico its legal but the service sucks it isnt even worth it. thats pretty much it for central america/the carribean.
i went to the infamous hotel del ray in San Jose

my buddy and i were gonna go for it but i got pretty cleaned out on the roulette table. the place is not very big at all and filled with slimy 40- and 50-somethings. i have mixed feelings about not going thru with getting an extremely hot whore, but i literally spent all my money by the end of my trip. oh well

maybe you guys could try planning a trip via email next time instead of making threads on tw which degenerate into ego-driven circle jerks ?

I was in CR in march-april and it definitely wasnt as cheap as I expected, but 3000 colones for a tequila shot is still steep at any local dive bar. tourist bars you could probably expect a price like that. beers are usually about 800-1000 colones, and you'll have a selection of mostly costa rican beers that are pretty good. The accepted exchange rate is 500 colones to the dollar, so you're paying about $1.60-2.00 for a beer at the bar, and tipping isn't really commonplace in CR. The two brand name beers (made by the same company) are Pilsen and Imperial; Imperial is the most popular. I liked Pilsen out of a can the most.

fraggle: October is the end of the wet season I believe, you might see a bit of rain. we didn't see a single drop until our last day there in 2 full weeks. you will find the best whores in SJ and Jaco, but Jaco is pretty shady and there aren't too many tourists. I wouldn't want to go to the bars there without someone who speaks fluent. SJ is exceptionally noisy and very third-world-looking in many downtown areas, but it's pretty safe overall if you're in a populated area. The traffic however, is by far the worst I've ever seen. Maybe not as bad as India, but still ridiculous.

Arenal Volcano and the surrounding hot springs (Baldi Resort) are really cool. My favorite place was Montezuma, but we stayed on the Pacific side and I didn't see anything East of SJ.

I have a friend named Pete.

He will do whatever it takes to drop what he is doing and spin the moves on women... even at the expense of his friends. not maliciously... just thoughtlessly.

He also likes to brag a lot.
Me: I got in a big fight with my wife
Pete: Damn dude. My car has GPS and a 6 CD changer.

I also think he is a self destructive alcoholic and the worst party ring-leader in history, because he only worries about himself.

Akuma reminds me of him in everything he posts.
