I loved arena in T1 and T2. Infact I still play t2 arena from time to time (when I can find a single person on a server). I still have both games on my machine and have never taken them off. So is there gonna be arena?

With the master server gone there are only about 370 people online (according to all seeing eye) with more than half of those being bots. So sad..

I am not talking about VUs sad exuse for arena, but real arena. I know a few modders said they were working on it. Was just wondering if it was done, how is it going etc?

I am supprised by how few servers I see. Is this game not doing well?

Was just looking through the paper at jobs.. The same jobs that use to pay 70-80k now pay 40-50k in my area. It is just amazing how far down the pay scale they have gone.

When I exit T:V I notice this background with all these clouds in a dark blue sky. I want that picture as my desktop. How do I get it.

This may have been discussed already, but does anyone notice that a lot of MAs do not register? I wanted to talk about the counter to this as well. For some reason I notice T:V registers NON MAs as MAs. For instance if a guy is flying and I shoot a stalagmite and the splash damage kills him...

I get into a server that says I have low ping, but when I hit f2 I see my ping swinging like crazy from 80-130 and its constantly swinging all over. Yet everyone else on the server seems to have perfectly steady ping. What am I doing wrong here?

For example. Too much verticle lift in the jets. Of course there is.. this is a rudimentary system compared to tribes 1 and 2. The jet hadn't been tweaked yet to allow more horizontal movement. That will come in the future with better engineering etc.. Anyway.. overall when I started...

I decided to drop to medium detail just to get rid of the extreme drops (I believe my 512Megs of ram causes this). I must say the game looks incredible at medium. There isnt a massive difference that I can see between medium and high. There is some diff, but WOW the game just looks good on...

I just thought high and ultra was almost overdone. Way to many ripple effects and reflections. Whereas medium was more subtle. Just a preference thing.. wondered who felt the same.

I have a 9800pro, 512 3200DDR, and a Barton 2800+. At 1024x768 with no AA and no AF, everything set to high, I get about 50fps, but sometimes it drops to the teens. Plus I get spikes where my fps just plummet for a second or too. What are you guys getting?

That is my feeling. I think this game is down to minor tweaks and bug fixes. I see a lot of complaints about vehicles, armour types, boundries etc. I think many of these things will have to redone in mods. So if you wish the game played XYZ.. then its your job to make mod XYZ.

I am gonna buy it no matter what anyway. So just sell it to me now. No more beta testing. In fact most of these people will buy it anyway. All the beta testing and we still all ran out and bought tribes 2. So just send us our copies now.
