I'm thinking about restarting.

Have there been a lot of changes since about 11 months ago? Still a lot of people playing?

Should I try to get back in with my old character or start anew?

how many sp have you sunk into your character, mine was not ideally set up, but its all good, I might take a day more than someone else, but my attributes were not the horror that I thought they might be.

Major changes from 11 months ago, Im not the expert, make sure you have service pack 2 installed, apparently.

I had the account for about 3 months, not a great deal of sp sunk into it and I think I wanna do things a bit different so I'll restart a new char.

They added the achura for one, which have the most brokeass attributes for industrialists and combat chars. Starting I think you can have 9/9/9/9/3 (Guess what the 3 is in, charisma) So thats one incentive if your character only has a month or two in it. The only drawback is they are ugly as sin. The guys look like weasely convenience store owners and the girls look like 50 cent hookers.

They added recons, which are the omgwtfpwn.

They added interdictors, which makes 0.0 an awesome place.

Big fights/POS wars are still gay as fuck. I honestly don't know what the fuck is wrong with CCP for them to think the sovereignty system is operational.

Typhoons have been overhauled along with several AFs. (All of which now own and have the pricepoint to match) The phoon was once considered the worst BS in the game now for small gangs up to large gangs it's arguably one of the best.

The tech 2 market is utterly broken in comparison with what it was 11 months ago, you'll experience that for yourself in time. ;)

Whole lot of other shit I am sure I am forgetting.

Deciding whether to re-roll or not comes down to really 2 things. Do you like the way your character was developing before you quit and how much isk and assets do you have?

ISK is really everything in this game. While it is not hard to get, the prices of good equipment and ships is about 500-700% higher than it was 6 months ago.
