[T:V] Map Questions

This may have been covered but I cannot find it using the search function.

Given the way mapping works using the Unreal engine what is the size limitation going to be on the T:V maps, in comparison to Tribes2 type maps?

Will the invisible walls in maps in games like UT2k3 going to be eliminated or will they remain in T:V?
 
I think they mentioned the maps won't be infinite like t2.. but still big enough to not interfere with the gameplay, like t1..
besides that, i haven't heard anything.

maps in t1 could be HUGE if we actually had a need for them

most maps in t1 were made using the "medium" setting, but scourge made one using large and the flags were over 2000 m apart, and that didn't include the OOB area
 
I hope they use TR2 style oob-grid bounce. It is fun to use, and will bring new elements to route finding. Of course, we are losing the ability to have cap routes which start oob, but that always annoyed me anyway.
