When we remembered that the anniversary was coming up, we started thinking up some ideas of what we could do to remember the past and inform some of our new members about what has happened at TribalWar. So I asked Imposter to start writing about the history before T2P and TW merged. He did one better...
<blockquote class=p>The History of Tribalwar
(In limerick form)
There once were three lads who were geeks,
We worked at Planet-Tribes for some weeks,
Then the server went down,
The host couldn't be found,
The whole situation really reaked.
We pondered the situation a bit,
Even though it was pretty much shit,
But in the end it was gone,
So we made Tribalwar.com
And so the spark to the fuse was lit.
We've had many hosts along the way,
They come and they go but none stay.
We outlast them all,
It's been quite a ball,
Thank god none of them made us pay.
The community grew pretty fast,
For awhile I didn't think it could last,
But the whores kept reading,
and the server kept speeding,
And the rest is all in the past.
Later on we found Colosus and crew,
Good staff has always been few,
They do a good job,
Handling this mob,
So to them I'll just say Thank You.
I hope we're around for four more years,
So here's to the birthday cheers,
It hasn't been easy,
Sometimes its been queasy,
Now everyone drink down your beers.
