XP Service Pack 3: Go or No Go?

vista just needs resources. ive got vista on a new laptop and it works just fine, but its got 4 gigs of ram a large hdd and duo core processor

I've been running it for almost 2 months now without a problem. I installed it on my laptop too since I got tired of vista. It actually runs noticeably faster than SP2.

Service Pack 3 is not like the previous two service packs.
It is mostly a collection of hot fixes.
There are no MAJOR OS changes.

i've got 5 domains with it spread out accross them, my boss consults for a company with about 4k people and they've rolled it out.

no problems thus far. i believe its mostly security updates - nothing major.

why would you install sp3?
To reduce the number of updates to install after a fresh (re)install of Windows.

I slipstreamed it into my install disc and have it on two separate machines running with no problems. I haven't installed it via Windows Update or any similar method though.
