i don't have one personally, but one of the managers in the dept is a huge white woman that never had kids and she and her husband are in terrible health. She is the most miserable person ever and does her best to make everyone that works for her and everyone else feel like shit most of the time...except when she is heavily medicated and then she's a trip.

i've had one good woman boss before, but as a whole from what I've seen, they suck. Too god damn emotional about shit.

What you said pretty much sums it up. It seems like they like to micro manage more than most male bosses as well.
 
I work in IT for a pretty large company. Our IT dept has about 30 people. Typical office environment w/cublicles and shit. Luckily I have a converted conference room with a great window view :)
 
Had a woman boss who was daddy's little girl. She ran the IT department like a little kid. It was no fun working there, found another job a few months later.
 
Ok. I've had one female boss, and she tends to be moody. It's different working for a female, that's for sure.
 
Women bosses fall into one of 2 categories.

1. beautiful and sucked their way into the job
2. complete bitch and insists on stomping every dick around to prove she belongs in the job.
 
Women in executive level positions are the worst.

With few exceptions they usually are trying to prove something - as if to justify their position being a woman. So they're often very tough - tougher than any man - and very difficult to work with. But the company needs to show it is equal opportunity so they promote them anyways.

I can't imagine how much productivity and wealth is mismanaged/lost in companies trying to be politically correct.
 
I once saw this porno where there was a female boss and she was pissed at her new assistant so she brought her into the office and they had hot lesbian sex. Yeah.
 
I try to keep an open mind, but I typically do not like working for women.

At least with a guy, you work for him long enough, and you can predict how he will react in a certain situation.

Women, you just don't know...

Although I did work for one really, really cool woman once.
 
My general comment on women goes double for women bosses.

Just because you're having a bad day doesn't mean it's OK to treat everyone else like shit.
 
The office admin where I work is a woman and she's really cool. She keeps everyone in the office happy, makes sure things are running well and lets me do my job as I please. Probably the best/smartest boss I've had.
 
also,

newly inserted/hired women bosses are consumed with their new power.
old entrenched women bosses are consumed with keeping their power.

catch a woman boss about a year into her job and she might be ok

as a side note, my boss is a metrosexual black male, he also favors some female characteristics of management though he's still level headed enough to know when he is being a jackass.

other than instances like this, the absolute worse woman boss is when she is over other women, specifically a predominately female department. This is the case in our customer service dept. It's about 98% women with two co-women bosses. The most fucked up drama shit goes on over there.

An office admin is a glorified secretary..... its not a position of any power where I come from.
 
i will agree with this, however

my sister was once my manager

bias aside, she was totally good at managing the department & was a great person to work w/

she got fired by the boss' daughter because the boss' daughter is lazy (comes in at 12 leaves at 2 kinda shit) & crazy has temper tantrums

my sister said something along the lines of 'stop passing your work onto all of us' one day & got a reply of:

"you're fired"

that was some fucked up shit

i still cannot believe i work here, but anyway:

i now have a new manager who was once the assistant manager

she cannot multitask, at all

i cannot talk to her while she is typing

its like she is deaf or something

and then she will get really really mad at me if i ask a question about anything

but she will completely baby the girls in the office and not give them any work or projects to do

i don't quite get it

and it is annoying
