I have a computer here at work that I'm trying to fix. The problem is that the owner forgot the login password and now he can't get into anything on it. I tried everything I could think of, and looked on the net but couldn't really find anything. Anyone know how to bypass or remove the password?
Thanks

yes, since the user is too fucking stupid to remember his/her password, just take the pc away from them and give him/her a fucking pencil and paper and tell them to stfu

*edit*
and don't listen to the idiot above me.
he knows nothing about computers

There are supposedly a few programs that will run off a boot disk an reset the password for you.

Is the machine a domain member?

Listen to consultant. Log in as admin, go to the users in control panel, and reset his password.
