It is a bit more nuanced than that. Women have no sense of palette. They like sweet and sugar. A $5 bottle of wine is enough to make them swoon. Men are able to distinguish, entertain, and enjoy more complex tastes afforded by quality wine, liquor, cigars, beer, and food.

Buy your girl a Bartles and Jaymes, get yourself a nice scotch.
