Why can't web browsers have a set of fucking standards?

the worst offender is IE 5 on Mac. (why anyone would use that is beyond me..but we still have to design for it...argggghghg!!!)

Microsoft supposedly no longer support their Mac variant of Internet Explorer, and it's hardly better than Safari. I see no incentive to actually use it whatsoever, as you say. ;

Fuck the Netscape/Mozilla users, just design it for Explorer. Don't like 90% people use Explorer?

netscape/mozilla is more standards compliant than IE is.
