Which Plasma TV??

I feel like i should get a bigger TV for my bedroom, but then I realize I don't watch that much TV. good story huh? glad i could help! :)

I think I would go with the Phillips... (but I honestly haven't had any experience with either company)

I am also foretelling that some idiot will post about how plasmas burn in...

plasma has such a better contrast ratio to it though........
Why LCD over plasma, I'm a HDTV newb?

Though I think claiming LCD over Plasma and vice versa..etc...(and any of those type of TV arguments is dumb)...I cannot argue with Funky's logic involving Mofo.

Plasma has burn-in issues, LCD does not. LCD doesn't do blacks quite as well as plasmas, but I personally haven't noticed that being an issue from LCDs I've seen.

based solely on name alone i would pick pioneer over hitachi anyday

but the best answers will likely be found on AVS forums or googling for user opinions

Plasma has burn-in issues

and there we go...it actually took 11 posts for this tidbit of innacuracy

Thank you for fulfilling my prophecy (see my 1st post in thread...you might have to look closely) :p:

Skunk...I would get the Panny Ayz mentions above if you are looking for a inexpensive (but decent quality) plasma.

(my 2 cents)

some plasmas burn in... some don't. most newer plasmas do not. personally I'd rather not risk it either way.
