which game should I download from steam today

I haven't really played many games in the past 2-3 years, looking for something pretty lengthy

here's what I've played recently:

arkham asylum
DA:O/awakening
ME1/2
Deadspace
Fallout 3

So pretty much anything else from the last couple of years is new to me
 
Edit: After having read the actual OP.

The Assassins Creed games aren't bad if you haven't played them. Other than that I would just wait till next month, there's a whole boatload of shit coming out.

so i just got a new comp yesterday after a few years of just playing old PC games on my laptop, and mainly being a console gamer

now i'm OK cool, i can play the latest games and shit again \o/ nice

and i've been browsing around on Steam and i can't find a single thing i want to play
 
King's Quest Collection
Space Quest Collection
Police Quest Collection

Any of those can keep you occupied for a while.

games coming out in the next few weeks: crysis 2, homefront.. and in may i think brink and deus ex 3 are coming.. you could juarez bulletstorm like i did a few days ago.. it's not a great game but it's fun for a short while haha..

oh juarez dead space 2 :) that one was pretty ok..
 
yeah Deus Ex 3 should be sweet i've been thinking about that...and been eagerly anticipating Brink for a while, not sure if i'll end up playing on console or PC though

you mentioning Crysis reminds me of that Mechwarrior multiplayer Crysis mod...maybe i should look that up :D
