Where to buy an Xbox360?

As a gift to myself this holiday season I've decided to get an Xbox360. Any good deals going on anywhere or is just going to Bestbuy the best bet? Also what game should I get first? Halo 3? Gears of War? Madden? What?
 
BestBuy I heard has a no questions asked return policy.

I suggest getting what you like? My personal suggestions would be:

-Mass Effect
-Gears of War
-Halo 3 (For multiplayer)

That would get you around 80 hours of fun.
 
My friend recommended that I get a 360 from Japan since they're selling like anti-hotcakes there. Cheaper depends if you have a Japanese friend that is coming back to visit soon.

Every now and then they'll list a good sale. I just bought my nephews through Amazon, no tax and free shipping.

There are a ton of great games out there, but a lot of 360 game threads too :]

Some games coming out soonish that might be pretty good.

Target doesnt check serials, best buy does

Best buy and Circuit City have the best return policies though if you want to be able to just return the console to them and have them swap it out. walmart and target mail it off to M$.

I just got $200 off mine (from EBGames in canada) for trading in 8 games that I never play anymore. I'm enjoying Bioshock right now:)
