what should i be looking for in a laptop around $800

like what is the latest and greatest processor or what are some of the best deals right now.....i've been using a Macbook Pro for 5 years now and it is ruined.

i don't need it for anything special, no gaming or photo editing, just lots of porn streaming and torrenting so a large HD is a must.

MAKE sure it has a processor, mobo, harddrive, battery, some ram, a dvd drive, and maybe a gfx card. the last one is optional tho

Does it need to be really portable like a 12"-15"?
If not, then buy a $500 17" laptop that has room to fit an extra hard drive and pick up a 1TB 2.5" drive to put in it.

If you prefer the Mac OS then just install it on whatever computer you end up getting.
