Web legality

When you click an "I agree" box or something of that nature, is that a legal binding contract that would hold up in a US court of law or what?

In other words, can I get in trouble for breaking a contract that I clicked on that said "clicking this box is the same as signing your name..."?

Any professional links that discusses this would be helpful.

If it were a matter that needed to be resolved by court, you're liable to abide by the TOS you agreed to.

currently, the legality of "shrink wrap" licenses have yet to be challenged in the courts..

but there is common consensus that the current form of clickthrough licensing is not binding.

Well, I'd be willing to bet that the party with the most money, and therefore the better lawyers, would most likely end up victorious. How well off are you?
