This is Tribes 1... still the greatest game around.

In the Tribes folder you'll want to make shortcuts from the 3
executables:
Tribes.exe
hudbot.exe
animated_sky.exe

This version of tribes is for base games at 1024 X 768 resolution.
If you change resolutions you're on your own at fixing up the hud
placements.

Favorites are on numpad.
Drop health kit, mines... on ","
Drop all/juggle on "."
Try keyboard 1-4 at inv... (change pack)....
Get in a game and poke around at your keyboard to see what they do.
 
Until the wheels are off the treadmill

so... would you then say that if another source of energy (the person holding the bike and walking forward, or THE JET ENGINE) interferes and moves the free-wheeled object forward, do you think it can overcome the treadmill speed and move forward?

are you saying in that scenario the belt is still moving consistently to the wheels that are still touching it

i'll sleep on it a bit and watch the vids tomorrow

Ok .. I haven't read anything since last night,,, i'll go back and read.
Also go watch the vids in a bit,,, just wanted to try to do it w/ my peabrain
But in my mind, i have the wheels looking stationary,
but the plane being pulled forward on the runway length belt by prop/jets
until it finally gets enough speed to lift...

but still something seems amiss
 
so how's this
the plane is sitting on the belt
I start the belt up and the plane just sit there
(i know in the sim the belt doesn't move unless the tires rotate,, but)
rotating it's tires in sync with the belt
I fire the plane up and the prop pulls me forward
at which point the wheels look stationary?
like the plane is being carried on the conveyor belt?

prolly not my final answer
