While I disagree that something needs to be used all the time for TW to be a valid TW expense, consider that Col is more than likely using the laptop to run TW, which consumes a large amount of his time. It may not benefit the end users directly, but Col does a crap load of work for the site, so a good amount of the time it is being used for TW.

While i'm sure people (if colosus chooses not to host tribalwar) would pick up the slack, I don't think most are fit to deal with the mental/legal trauma.

Also, the contributors were contributing to TW, granted, this might be a personal account, it should still be acknowledged that people whom contributed were contributing to Colosus, not TW.

If that made any sense.
 
:lol: what a joke. You dont deserve to make money off of gamers, if you want gamers money make a fucking game. dont you think that we spend out enough as it is? I spend money not only on the game but I spend money running a server and a clan website along with other things...like sending money to places like this and LANs I go to...if you think you are entitled to money or a profit for holding an event or keeping a website up then fuck you...most LANs use the extra money for prizes and what not. If you arent doing it because you want to then dont do it...I think everyone appreciates what you do (and people have more than let you know that) but dont come crying that you do soooooo much for everyone. As a person who spends my personal money to run servers and a team and contribute myself without anyone even saying thanks let alone giving me money I have a hard time feeling for you. If you make a profit on a LAN, good for you...If people send money to help keep TW stay up and its spent some other way (which it doesnt seem it was spent some terrible way) then we have a right to bitch. Get over yourself...thanks for the LAN and the website but if you think you deserve compensation you are mistaken...if you can manage to make money off of it then whatever...all you are owed is the price of the LAN and a thanks for Volunteering your time. Yes, game makers deserve to rake in gamers money because they put out the games you run your LANs to play :lol:

Whatever...I know people who put on LANs and they dont keep the money and they run them because they want to, they ask for nothing in return...but a thanks
