I am looking into cancelling my phone service and going with something like Vonage or Packet8.

However, I need dial-up access for work reasons, will my dial-up modem work over VOIP? I get the feeling it wouldn't but figured I'd ask.

Anyone use this, what are your thoughts?
 
Dail-up requires POTS so you'll still need it if you plan on using dailup. Is it for a work VPN? If so talk to your IT guys to getting work over DSl or cable which ever your using.

BTW I forget the name of the company but someone is offering first 3 months free unlimited local, us, Canada, Eupore, and calls to Japan.

Plus you get all your calling toys CL ID, CL Waiting, Three Way, Conts Redial, Speed dail, and bunch of others. I 'll repost the company name on Monday.
