my wife bought me a new tv for my office

nothing super duper, just a 19" vizio led (M190MV) which i have hooked directly to the coax (no cable box)

it surprisingly gets a ton of hd channels which i was not expecting, which is pretty cool w/o a cable box

anyways, it has the ability to pause and rewind live tv, but you have to connect a usb storage device for it to hold the memory in order to do so, which i have done but it won't recognize it although it is formatted the correct way FAT

the instructions don't help much and i can't find anything on the googles

anyone have experience w/this?

it's literally:

II pause live tv
> resume playback of live tv
>> ffw live tv from previously paused spot

that's it. in trouble shooting it says under solutions for usb not recognized:

make sure device is formatted in FAT or FAT32

i've read this damn thing cover to cover at least 5 times thinking i missed it, but nope. nothing in there besides what i just posted

What size is the memory stick? Do you have another stick of a different make or brand to try out?

Do you need some sort of "Internet App" to enable the feature, all their new TV's are shilling crap about being able to stream content like Netflix, Amazon movies on demand, Blockbuster etc but you need to install the "App" from their "App Store" to make it work.
