Video files all greyed out?

Whenever I open any type of video file in any player application they appear very greyed out and desaturated. These files worked fine like a week or so ago... could this be a video driver issue??

Same thing happened to me. I beleted win media player and reinstalled and it worked out.

Hmm, I deleted all my codecs and reinstalled and still nothin.

I wonder if the new version of Direct X could have done something...?
